What can I say about this ending.
~Those death flags. T^T
~Old versions of Dead Master and Strength gone but new child versions are here.
~That Cliffhanger. (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻
~Empress went out with a ultimate form and came back.
~Black Trike got a upgrade.
~Battles reach a stalemate but didn't end the war.
~Good enough CGI from start to end.
~The story goes on.

TBH at the start I wasn't gonna get into this since I've never got into this franchise but went hypocrite and gave it a chance and like it even though I've never played the games or watch other versions of this. I've been confuse by this but excepted this and I could care less with positive or criticism about this being full cgi since I don't mind watching full cgi anime's if the story is good and the cgi done good enough that doesn't make it painful too watch.

With this I give it a 6/10 and say good bye to another seasonal anime that just ended.

try the 2012 version , it's only 8 episodes anyway, that one is more fantasy/supernatural than sci-fi

What could've been done better:
~ Monica got back together with that other chick, and they grew old together.
~ Empress turned into a loli like the other two.

Strength and DM are dead and loli versions are new genetical modifications of the old strength and DM that died.
Black trike dove in to iron ocean but since it was metal it didnt die instantly like humans would.
The only things that wasnt properly explained was aging of the characters. Since Monika suddenly turned from 20'ish to 80'ish and kids turned from 10'ish to 17'ish and new version of hemitheos have ben borned too.
Hence why for me it is 9/10 anime adaptation due to small misshaps like the bugged aging.

ironically that isn't a plothole 50 years passed so obviously monica went from 20-30ish to 70-80ish, miya and charlotte didn't because they were turned into psuedo-hermitheos units: fortune and temperance. hermitheos units age slower

Empress returned to iron ocean and apparently assembled it because of a lore of first few episodes.
Re create and revive are different,please dont use them the same way.
Then why iron ocean didnt extract stuff out of things inside it?[ships and things like that that were cruising on it]
Dont you think iron ocean is not acid? Where anime mentions that 50 years have passed? Dont you think you need to re watch the anime to understand it?

the iron did extract from other stuff on it, that's specifically why they had get the help of the ship they used to cross it wasn't a "normal" ship.

As much as I loved this final ep though, and as much as I love the BRS franchise in general... 6.5/10 show overall for me (that's at a push btw, realistically 6). It was decent, but nothing incredible.

long long ago, i remember Black Rock Shooter was 1 of my favorite anime. i have to say that at that time i haven't watched a lot of anime yet, so we can say that it was in my first 30 finished. the story was hard to understand, but i really loved it! and then now, in 2022 i was soooo happy that this anime is back! ><

I just knew the theme song would play sooner or later... But after all that, Artemis is still at large? You can't end it like that. We need another showdown between her and Empress. This shouldn't be the end.

This is a good ending, because if you think about it, Artemis made a fatal mistake and went to sleep those 200 years, but humanity launched an unexpected counterattack against her so they have the upper hand and the best chance to win.

Of course, the ending leaves in the air how the battle with end, but I'm 100% they will win if we consider this anime is a remake of the PSP and the ending of that game... well, let's just say it's far more grim that Dawn Fall.

Honestly I Stuck with this series I’d say it isn’t half bad at all could be better but honestly it’s so sad Charlotte father just died like that so painful so many death flags so sad honestly I give this series 8/10!
